In the spring of 2022, I created a series of stop motion animations for Greenpeace Canada to support their Rethinking Nature Protection campaign. These four stop motions depict a few of the ways our bodies are intertwined with the living natural world. Read the full description on Greenpeace Canada’s website.
I did a header and spot collage illustration for the May/June 2021 issue of The Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives Monitor Magazine. The illustrations accompany the article Organizing accessibility and intersectionality through 15-minute cities written by Sharee Hochman.
In 2021 I worked at Sundog Organic Farm and did an apprenticeship with Young Agrarians. I also had some funding from the Edmonton Arts Council to “To explore ways to apply my graduate research on solutions-oriented climate art to my solo art practice.”
This three things coalesced in a really lovely way as I got to explore how regenerative farming is a climate solution through art, alongside working on the farm. The stop motion animation is of Jose Juan and I picking carrots, and the illustrations are from my weekly farm log that I kept for the apprenticeship. If you want to read the full farm log you can find it here.
I created a series of collages reflecting on the year 2020 for the Yellowknife Choral Society for their year end concert titled Hindsight.
350.org published A Better World Is Paintable, a how-to guide for making banners, street murals, puppets and more. I created the ink and watercolour illustrations to accompany the how-to’s!

While I was a grad student, I worked for Dr. Darlene Clover as a research assistant at the University of Victoria. My first project was to turn her academic article that critically analyzes Barbie Expo into a zine. I summarized the key points from the article, illustrated the barbies and put it all together in hand drawn zine titled A Critical-Creative Exploration of How Gender is Performed in Barbie Expo. The full zine can be found on the Gender Justice, Creative Pedagogies and Arts-Based Research initiative’s website.
